Extreme Rare Lightning Phenomena: Sprites

Unlike the Northern lights, there is another phenomena which has been long unexplained. These extremely reare lightnings are called sprites and they occur high above thunderstorm clouds, giving rise to a quite varied range of visual shapes flickering in the night sky.
