Why do men have nipples?

Why do men have nipples? Science Blurt

Haven't this question bugged you since long before? We all know that every part of our body is created to serve a particular function necessary for our survival but men's nipples are pretty far much from serving anything critical. Then why do all men have it? Why did evolution put it there?

It turns out, in mother's womb we all start as females. Yes, the human body is based on a female body prototype. This remains the same until 4 weeks of development when the Y chromosome joins the party and separates the males from females. The primary formation of the mammary glands and tissue development starts early, so the nipples are formed before the gender specific process starts.

The embryo also develops gonads by 4th week but at this point it is considered as indifferent, the gender does not play a role here. After about 8 weeks the gender division takes place in the body development. But before it all began, we all started as females.

So, we all were a lady at least once.

Embrace the woman in you!
