Graphene- The wonder material
Graphene, made from the most common material on our desks, the pencil lead, has the power to change our world with its unique properties. Its amazingly thin, just one atom layer and has astonishing traits which can take the current technology thousands folds ahead. Its promising study has such huge impressions in the field of science that in 2010, Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize for ground breaking experiments regarding the two dimensional material - graphene.
From thin paper thin TVs to foldable computers, graphene can do wonders in the world of technology. Its unique water filtering property can filter sea water and make it consummable for our thirsty population. Can it solve all our problems? Let's find out.
