Will Nanotechnology change our world?

Gone are those days when we used to depend on the bulky and huge electronic devices which nothing but a show piece at home. But today we carry hundreds and thousands times stronger and faster gadgets in our pockets or wear them on our wrists. Yes, the world is shrinking but our gadgets are getting smaller at a much faster rate than we had ever imagined.

Nanotechnology has made electronic devices shrink to incredibly small sizes also making them more powerful than ever before. The effect of such a change is profound and has made us take huge leaps forward in the field of science which makes me go curious for even more. Few questions bug me all the time as what else does Nanotechnology has more to offer? How small can we get?

Can we build minuscule robots which can enter into our blood vessels and cure cancer? Can we place robotic medicines which can reach the retina and cure blindness? These questions are rising high in the world of Nanotech but all we can do is to wait for it to grow smaller and better.
