How Eyes Evolved?

The animal kingdom encompasses millions of species and more than 95% of them share a common trait, the power of sight. Eyes are everywhere! But inspite of being a common trait every animal's eyes are different in what they see and perceive, owing to the powerful force of evolution which shaped them all along the evolutionary history.

Different eyes evolved because animals have different life styles and their need to evolve came differently. But as the saying tells, we can see the same thing but will view it differently. The same is the bottom line of the evolution of eye in animals.
