Water on Mars
Earth is the only known planet in the solar system to support life. All the magnificient ecosystem on our blue planet run with the help of the most important ingredient in the universe, water. Its a scientific saying, where there is water there is life. This is definitely true in case of our planet as the life is believed to have evolved in the deep oceans.
Our recent advancement in the exploration of the red planet, Mars, have taught us much more about the alien land. With the arid lands and red rocky surface, Mars is telling the story of its unfortunate doom. The pictures sent from the rovers and satellites it is very clear that Mars once contained water which flew on its rocky floor. There are delta formations, river meanderings and many more geological footprints which suggests the obvious, Water once existed in the liquid state on Mars.
