What is the shape of the expanding Universe?

14 billion years ago our Universe was formed out of the Big Bang. It would have been a site to behold, a massive explosion out of no where creating all the space and time we live in today. Still billions of years later the effect of the Bang is working. Our universe is seen to be expanding and that too very fast, curtesy to the bizarre Dark Matter.

Theoretically if the Big Bang would have occured, the gravitational forces would eventually pull everything back to where it all started. But this is not true about our cosmos. The Dark Matter which dominately makes up the most of our universe is accelerating everything away from each other.

So we now know that our universe is EXPANDING! But what we don't know is the shape of our expanding universe and what is it expanding into? This question has baffled scientists for years but there is no concrete theory to support the facts.
