Unknown facts about Dinosaurs

1. All Dinosaurs did't go extinct at the same time. When the meteor hit the Earth, some dinosaurs survived but after hundreds of years or possibly thousands of years later they ultimately faced their doom due to changes in weather, lack of sunlight and finally, starvation.

2. Pterosaurs and Marine Reptiles weren't technically dinosaurs.

3. Dinosaurs and Mammals existed at the same time. However the mammals were not very dominant and were small sized, living in burrows.

4. Most Dinosaurs were dumb but some evolved to be smart beings. In fact, the smartest of all dinosaurs were at par with today's ostriches.

5. Vast majority of Dinosaurs were Herbivores. Yeah, that ruins our childhood logic.

6. Some Dinosaurs were warm blooded.

7. Birds evolved from Dinosaurs.

8. Dinosaurs are the most successful species on Earth. Dinosaurs were on Earth for 150 million years which is more than any other species has survived. They were sturdy and adaptable creatures which required extra-terrestrial factors to make them go extinct.

9. Dinosaurs weren't the first reptiles to rule the Earth. There were many smaller reptiles which once crawled the very grounds and there was no match for their dominance.
